Shanghai Dahua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is located at No.3503 Changzheng Highway, Xinhai Town, Chongming District, Shanghai. The plant covers an area of 2.5 hectares with a green coverage rate of approximately 50% and a construction area of 4,500 square meters. It currently has 106 employees.

Built in strict compliance with GMP standards, the factory is equipped with Class C clean workshops, a quality control center, standardized warehouses, and an administrative & training center.
Its product Levonorgestrel Silastic Implant (II) obtained domestic GMP certification in 2004 and WHO GMP certification in 2013, with subsequent recertifications passed multiple times. In June 2017, it successfully achieved WHO Prequalification (WHO PQ), qualifying as a supplier for global public procurement.
The company was recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise in 2023 and won the Shanghai May 1st Labor Medal in 2024. It has also received honors including Shanghai Civilized Unit, Safe Demonstration Unit, Integrity Establishment Unit, Level II Standardized Safety Compliance Enterprise, and Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise.

The company has established ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, all certified by NQA, a UK certification body.

In recent years, pharmaceutical regulatory authorities from multiple countries have conducted audits and assessments of the site, confirming that its manufacturing, quality management system and infrastructure meet international standards. The company is committed to ensuring product quality and improving reproductive health for women worldwide.

As of June 2026, Levonorgestrel Silastic Implant (II) has been registered and approved in more than 40 countries globally.
